Choose how kaylin answers
The greeting, what kaylin does for callers, transfers and blocked numbers.
Each number has its own settings on its card in Settings → Phone numbers, under When others call. Owners and admins can change them.
Greeting
The first thing callers hear. Leave it blank to use the default, which includes your business name. If kaylin asks callers before recording, the question takes the place of your greeting's closing question; if kaylin tells them, it adds "This call is recorded." to your own greeting. Press Save greeting.
What kaylin does
For calls and texts to this number.
Answer and help: kaylin answers what it can from what kaylin knows and takes a message for the rest. Texts get answers the same way.
Take a message: kaylin doesn't answer questions; it takes a message for you. A text gets one reply saying the team will get back to them.
Offer to transfer to me: kaylin offers to connect callers to your transfer number, or takes a message. Add a number under Transfer calls to first. Texts get answers, like Answer and help.
Only my team can call: everyone else hears that this line isn't taking calls. Texts are saved for the team, and kaylin doesn't reply.
Blocked numbers
Type a number under Blocked numbers and kaylin politely ends calls from it. The list applies to every number in the workspace.
Anyone on the team can block a number, here or with Block this number on a call's page. Each blocked number says who blocked it. Owners and admins can unblock any of them; everyone else can unblock the ones they blocked.
