Forward your existing number
Keep the number customers know and let kaylin answer it.
You don't have to give customers a new number. Forward the one you have to your kaylin number. The codes are at the bottom of Settings → Phone numbers under Forward your existing number, already filled in with your kaylin number.
- 1Pick Only unanswered calls (your phone rings first, and kaylin answers if you don't pick up in about 20–30 seconds) or All calls (every call goes straight to kaylin).
- 2Find your carrier: AT&T, T-Mobile and most others, or Verizon.
- 3Press the code to copy it.
- 4On the phone you're forwarding, dial the code and press call.
- 5Call your old number from another phone to check that kaylin answers.
Office lines and VoIP systems like RingCentral, Google Voice or Ooma set forwarding in their own app or admin settings. Codes can differ by carrier and plan; if one doesn't work, ask your carrier.
Turn forwarding off
The codes to turn it off are listed under the carrier codes. On most carriers it's ##21# for all calls and ##61# for unanswered calls; on Verizon it's *73.
